A subordinate command of United States Strategic Command, JWAC’s mission is to provide the Department of Defense and civilian agencies with reasoned engineering and scientific analysis, precision targeting, contingency planning, and technical solutions to achieve the United States’ strategic national security and military objectives during times of peace, crisis, and war.
Located in Dahlgren, Virginia, JWAC’s 400-strong workforce is comprised of 360 Civilian employees and 40 military personnel from the armed services.
